As announced by Google in a recent blog post, they are currently working on a significant algorithm change that will increase its emphasis on mobile-usability as a ranking factor. The algorithm change will be rolled out gradually starting on April 21st of this year. You are out-of-time to get your site optimized for mobile access and what you will start seeing is going to be undesirable consequences of being non-compliant. Bottom line: If you fail to get your site mobile-NOW, your rankings and mobile search visibility may drop significantly. This is not just another Google update of small tweaks that lead to usually insignificant changes in your search rankings for your business. Just the opposite: If your site isn’t optimized for mobile by April 21st this new mobile update could completely change how we look at search. Like with every other iteration of Google’s algorithm, your goal should be to make your users happy. If you give your users a great experience, Google will reward you for your efforts. If you don’t they will make you pay the consequences… This is your last chance to get your site ready. If you need help, contact us. We can develop a fully responsive site or mobile-friendly version and if you act quickly we will do it for $500-$1000 and have it ready in a few days.
